IT Support Call…ignorance is bliss??
The other day I got an email from a good friend that works in IT support for a major computer manufacturer. Here is the actual call log:
Customer has very recently bought his new laptop. Quick history… He has opened up some programs and now he cannot see his desktop which he likes.
Our solution:
Problem Determintion=
// cu says the software program is showing on his display and he wants to go back to the icons
// advised cu to close program and he will see the icons
// Cust very satisfied with their service.
You gotta be at least mildly amused…

I think I would have told them that that was a common issue, and that the resolution was a s3krit windows hax:
“Press the Windows Key and “M” at the EXACT same time.”
