On Tony Morgan’s blog (tonymorganlive.com) he wrote an interesting article outlining 10 signs you’re not ready for change.
10 Signs You’re not Ready for Change
- You see other organizations as the competition instead of the idea incubators.
- You’re trying to avoid criticism that comes when you fail…and when you succeed.
- You’re afraid of the culture.
- Your life is fast and cluttered and there’s no space to dream.
- You value getting it right over getting started.
- You believe conflict is a bad thing.
- You’ve stopped asking questions.
- You think systems and strategy are the enemy of creativity.
- You’re expecting to receive credit for your ideas.
- You think you’ve already arrived.
[tag]Change[/tag] is a part of life and more importantly, a part of growth. I can’t grow in my relationship with God if I am unwilling to be changed by Him. My ministry will not continue to grow if I am unwilling to make some tweaks along the way. Change is uncomfortable, often scary, but its glorious. It’s only when we step headlong into the hands of God and trust Him to mold us and make us that we experience the depth of His love and grace.
Are you ready for God to use you? Are you ready to grow and foster growth around you? Are you ready for God to change you? I am…
