It’s about freedom… Galatians 5:1
This week I have been speaking at a church camp in Panama City Beach. So far things have been amazing and God is doing a work in the lives of these students. Scott England is leading worship; we have been close friends for a while but this is the first time we have worked together in this compacity. So far God has used us to minister to students in both corporate worship and in one on one conversation.
I have been teaching on Galatians 5 in the evening and Hebrews 11 in the mornings, these are not passages for the faint of heart. Tonight trying to explain circumcision in a way appropriate for mixed company of varying ages was interesting to say the least (that audio post will come later).
Galatians 5:1 focusses on the idea that Christ set us free for the sake of freedom, not so that He could give us yet another “to do list” (aka. more law). I encourage you to listen to the audio post, it’s about 30 minutes and should keep your attention, it certainly kept mine.
